I don't think Mocking birds are nocturnal, but there is this ONE bird, who seems to practice his singing all night long!  I was awakened in the early morning hours to the sounds of his varied calls.  Not one to stay in bed, I began my day at the crack of dawn.

     Mornings are a peaceful time.  Children and pets are still asleep.  The neighborhood is quiet.  Today is my day to share with my youngest grandchild.  The world through a child's eyes is all new and exciting.  Everything is a learning experience at the age of one. We will both bring a new perspective to each other.  Life is good....
